TGM Vol.1 Chapter 37 – Crazy Magic Moment

No one thought that he would trip suddenly, seeing that the sword was about to stab Linglong and the people next to her didn’t have time to help.

Even Linglong didn’t expect that she would freeze in fear.

The sword light in front of her flashed, and she closed her eyes instinctively. Suddenly, someone hit her hard and she fell off the boulder, landing on the back of her head.

Then, something hot was dripping on her face and she was shocked, unconsciously grabbing the clothes of the person in front of her – it was Xuanji!

“Ah! She cried out, her eyes startled as she stared at the black and gold sword that had pierced Xuanji’s right shoulder, ferociously protruding and dripping with blood. The blood that was dripping on her face was dripping from the sword.

Xuanji! She wanted to scream, but couldn’t, she could only manage a crying trill from her throat.

Xuanji’s face was covered with cold sweat, and her face was pale white, and suddenly she raised her hand and grabbed the sword with her five fingers like a hook. Wu Tong had already gotten up from the ground to draw the sword, but he couldn’t pull it out. He couldn’t help being startled.

Xuanji suddenly turned back, her eyes burning, looking at him steadily. His heart shuddered and he felt a chill in his heart for no reason.

“You…” she trembled, “You… don’t be too arrogant…”

Seeing that she was bleeding like water and her face was as pale as paper, Wu Tong was obviously unable to hold on any longer. He was cruel and drew the sword with all his strength, saying, “It’s my fault to hurt the lady by mistake!”

But he still couldn’t pull it out. She clutched the tip of her sword and stared at him with a fierce stare, gradually pushing her wrist harder.

He was shocked to see his black sword curved into an impossible arc at its tip, and with a “pop”, the resistance in his hand suddenly disappeared, and the whole person stumbled back and sat on the ground. Looked at the black-gold sword again, but found that the tip of the sword was broken by her bare hands!

Wu Tong was stunned.

He didn’t know if it was because he was dazzled or because the sunlight was too strong, but he could see the silvery light emitting from her palm and the four-inch long, black sword tip.

“You die too, try it!” She said coldly, and with an elegant twist of her wrist, the tip of the sword in her hand flew out like lightning. Wu Tong couldn’t see her movements at all, he only felt the silver light shooting towards him, and by the time he saw it clearly, the sword tip was already in front of him.

To die! He closed his eyes and waited for the tip of the sword to penetrate his skull.

He opened his eyes slowly, shocked, and saw that the tip of the sword had long since lost its power and fell at his feet, and the badly wounded little girl, with half of her body soaked in blood, fainted with her eyes rolled back.

“Xuanji!” Linglong then reacted and hugged her desperately, “Xuanji! Don’t die, Xuanji!”

She screamed for a long time, but Xuanji didn’t react at all, her eyes were closed and her face was pale as if she was dead.

She was so frightened that she lost her soul and cried bitterly, not caring about Wu Tong, the culprit beside her.

It was only then that the people around her reacted to the sudden change, shouting and screaming, watching people, checking their pulse, and all gathered around.

When Du Minxing saw that Linglong was crying so hard that she was about to faint, he lifted his hand to hold Xuanji in his arms and checked under her nose. “Xuanji is still alive, don’t shake her again, otherwise the injury will get worse!”

He hurriedly took out the gold medication from his bosom, not caring to tear the clothes to see the wound, he poured it on to stop the bleeding first.

Suddenly, his hand was stopped by someone.

He looked up, and it was Chu Yinghong and Chu Lei and his wife. “Don’t move!” Chu Yinghong, who is very pale, points at the acupuncture points around her wound to stop the bleeding and instructs Linglong, who is staying behind, “Don’t be dumb! Get out of the way!”

Chu Lei picked up his little girl, and the three of them couldn’t care less about the chaotic scene and hurriedly left with the seriously injured and unconscious Xuanji.

Linglong, who was choking with tears, rushed after them, followed by Zhong Minyan and Du MinXing.

But the competition ended in such a way that no one would have expected, and there was an uproar.

When everyone helped Yu Jianhao off the stage, they remembered to look for the culprit, Wu Tong, but he was nowhere to be found after searching all over the mountain. Turns out he realised that things didn’t look good for him, and ran away secretly.

Yu Jianhao was helped to face the Master of the Dianjing Valley, and he cupped his fist in shame and said, “I am useless… Master…”.

Master Rong Gu shook his head, “I don’t blame you, you’re already fine. Elder Jiang!”

As soon as he finished speaking, an old man with white beard and white hair emerged from the crowd and bowed deeply to him with a look of shame, saying in a low voice, “My subordinates… I have failed to discipline… I am really ashamed to face the Valley Master…”.

Master Rong looked around and said coldly, “Where is Wu Tong?”

Elder Jiang gave a slight pause, “Thinking that he knows he has caused trouble, he has… fled.”

Master Rong Gu laughed coldly, “Hmph, escaped… You’re still protecting your shortcomings as usual, Elder Jiang!”

Elder Jiang hung his head, not daring to say a word.

“Never mind. He committed a heinous crime today. From now on, there will be no more Wu Tong in Dianjing Valley. In order to make up for his mistake, the Dianjing Valley is withdrawing from the Flower Hairpin Tournament!”

Seeing the angry Master, none of the disciples of the Dianjing Valley dared to say anything, so they knelt down and agreed.

Wu Tong was expelled from Dianjing Valley and Dianjing Valley withdrew from the Flower Hairpin Tournament.

But Xuanji didn’t know about all this.

She was having a strange dream in which she was dressing up in front of a mirror. She looked at her, but she was much older, her expression on her face was cold and solemn, and her eyes seemed to be cold as crushed ice, and the chill permeated.

The bottle of rouge, or the box of Ayala beads and jade, she did not even spare a look. She put up her long hair on the top of the head, and then tied the purple helmet and gold armor. In the mirror, a heroic woman appeared.

She was going to do something, something that she had been doing from birth to death, without regret or hesitation.

She was born to do it.

She came to the battlefield where smoke and brimstone were in the air, and thousands of hooves of iron, like dark clouds. The soldiers held up a huge banner, with a gaudy and odd pattern, which resounded in the wind.

The solemn trumpet, as if many people were crying, sounded in all directions, and the big drum made of dragon skin, struck the sky roaring like thunder and shook the earth, as if the raindrops were falling rapidly.

The fire of heaven fell, one by one, from the firmament, and with the fire of heaven came the densely packed army.

They came from heaven, from another cycle, and crossed the wide river of heaven, repeatedly invading the sacred territory.

A flying horse leaped, spread its wings and flew over her head, kicking over her helmet of purple clouds and pouring down like a waterfall of three thousand silks. The General atop the horse had three heads and six arms, and his body was burning with fire.

She bit down on a tuft of disobedient hair and turned back with a slash of her sword.

Blood spilled everywhere.

Good, that was good.

Someone in her ear seemed to be urgently calling out, “Xuanji… Xuanji…”.

She held an object in her hand so tightly that she couldn’t remember the cause and consequence.

The voice is still there, “Xuanji… Xuanji! Wake up!”

She opened her eyes suddenly, and saw the green tent and two or three tearful, concerned faces.

“Ah! She’s awake! She woke up!” Ling Long cried out and grabbed her hand tightly, her tears flowing even harder, “How do you feel? Can you talk? Does it still hurt?”

Xuanji blinked her eyes blankly for half a day before she said, “I… I don’t think… it doesn’t hurt anymore.”

As she said she was about to get up, He Danping hurriedly pressed her, “Don’t move! The wound is not healed yet!”

Xuanji realized that half of her body was numb and could not move. She lay back down and was about to speak. Suddenly she felt that she was holding something tightly in her hand. When she picked it up, it was a piece of broken wood, and she couldn’t help but stare.

Linglong said timidly: “That was… when you came in, you clung to the door frame and refused to let go. Finally… the door frame was cracked by you…”

Xuanji was stunned.

  1. Linglong wanted to protect Xuanji but Xuanji ended up protecting her. Xuanji is terrifying when she uses that power.
